I am currently assisting my client in their search for a hands on and tenacious Finance Manager to join the team. This is a newly created position and you would be joining at an exciting time for the company. My client is a large subsidiary of a privately owned, international group which has seen strong growth in recent years, both organic and via acquisitions. This is a great opportunity for the successful candidate to grow with the business, as the role will evolve as you take on new projects and responsibilities to support the CFO and Senior Management Team. You will initially oversee a team of two, however this will also increase as time goes on. Duties and responsibilities Preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts to UK and Head Office management Oversee all aspects of finance function for your area of the business, incl. VAT returns Provide assistance during external audit Work closely with non-finance colleagues to optimise commercial performance of the business, from warehouse to office staff Support staff within one of the acquired companies to ensure procedures and policies are moved in line with other UK subsidiaries Profile of the successful candidate Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Strong communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across the business Experience within a logistics/freight forwarding organisation with a warehouse function would be beneficial
