Sheridan Maine is working with a Private Equity back business in Sutton to recruit a Finance Business Partner for their investment and appraisal team. We are looking for a commercially minded finance individual to provide financial and commercial decision support to help drive the identification and delivery of strategic growth opportunities within the organisation Key Responsibilities - Financial analysis and reporting - Financial appraisal and preparation - Post investment reviews - Monitoring and reporting on spend and timescales - Ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic business projects for MD's and Senior Management Key Requirements - ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualified or equivalent - Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. - Comfortable working with senior stakeholders within a business environment - Possess an analytical mind-set with a high level of attention to detail - Experience with Excel for financial appraisals and modelling, including creation of bespoke financial forecasts - Strong commercial acumen to review, analyse and challenge investment proposals and ensure that risks and opportunities are identified and understood This role is ideal for someone wishing to focus on the commercial side of finance and step away from Balance sheets and month ends. The role is available on an initial 12 month contract and goes with a strong package and competitve salary
