Job description: Are you an experienced Business Analyst with TPA and regulatory reporting exposure? If so then we may have the role for you. Our client, a global asset management firm is looking for a Business Analyst to use their technical knowledge and expertise to assist in the functional design and build out of the Middle Office Operating Model. This is initially a 6 month contract based in Edinburgh. Core

responsibilities:
Agree "current state" scope within the sub work stream with key stakeholders / business owners Define and agree Future state offering - ensure all existing reports / process to new report / process post migration Liaise with key external providers such as trade repositories and the internal business to resolve queries on source or basis of data within reports Review test output and test scripts to ensure the client is satisfied that the report has been built to specification Ensure operational readiness including static data cleanse / validation Core requirements: Detailed knowledge / previous experience of TPA Reporting, Oversight Reporting & Regulatory Reporting Previous experience within a TPA environment (facing off to an Asset Manager) would be highly desirable Previous experience of a large scale internal integration, and/or an external service provider migration would be highly desirable Good understanding of asset management trade & valuation data across all instrument types Good understanding of an oversight model required when outsourcing functionality to a TPA Detailed understanding of the Investment data process and flows An understanding of Project Management and Analysis practices Job reference: 11810 To apply for this vacancy applicants must be eligible to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.
