An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented Finance Manager to join a friendly, SME business located in Gosport, Hampshire. The role has arisen due to steady business expansion and will suit a 'hands on' individual seeking long term career stability. Reporting to the Company Director, responsibilities will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts; Overseeing a team of two; Cash flow management and forecasting; Preparation of monthly VAT /CIS returns and submissions to HMRC; Making payments to sub-contractors and performing all relevant reconciliations; Liaison with external auditors. The ideal candidate will possess a very good understanding of Sage 50 or Xero gained from an SME business, will ideally have previous CIS returns experience and strong knowledge of managing cash-flows. You'll have a flexible approach to your work, will enjoy problem solving and finding innovative solutions should issues or risks arise.
