Robertson Bell Finance are working with a growing not for profit organisation to recruit an Interim Finance Manager to cover a period of sabbatical leave. Based in Central London, the role joins an organisation who have strong funding but want to deliver more with that money - an aim that this role will play a key part in. Reporting to the Head of Finance, the main responsibilities of the Interim Finance Manager are as follows: - Train and coach the team to ensure timely and accurate management accounts are produced on a monthly basis.- Act as the systems accountant for the SUN finance system, driving improvements and dealing with any queries that arise.- Work with the Head of Finance to ensure that the annual budgeting and re-forecasting process runs smoothly and that stakeholders are fully engaged.- Assist with the financial accounting aspects of the organisation, working with the Financial Controller to produce the quarterly VAT return for the trading subsidiary and that the partial exemptions are correctly applied.The successful candidate will be a fully-qualified accountant with strong experience of management accounting and financial reporting. You must have experience of working in a charity or wider not for profit organisation and, critically, have knowledge of Charity SORP. Finally, you will have experience of SUN or have a wide range of systems knowledge from other finance programs.You must be immediately available or have a short notice period to be considered and applications will be reviewed daily so please do not delay in applying.
