Job Duties : Assist with Group-wide budgeting. Ensure that all of the company's financial practices are in line in statutory regulations and legislation. Contribute to the strategic management of the Board by developing and maintaining strategies that encompass the Finance Department. To lead on the financial aspects of any strategic projects aimed at achieving growth of the organisation. Monitor and control the quality and cost-effectiveness of services provided by the department to ensure high standards and value for money. Staff Management/Deployment - To lead and manage the Finance team by establishing excellent ongoing working relationships with team and with other departments. Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks. Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position (including working capital management) and act proactively to prevent problems. Manage and oversee the Group's finance IT system. Set targets for and supervise all accounting and finance personnel. Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to the Board. Establish and implement a training program for new finance employees. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience as a Director of Finance, or a Senior Manager within the finance function looking to progress in their career.
