Title: Head of Asset Management, Real Estate Contract type: Permanent
Location:
London Salary - 100k GBP FINCO search is proud to be working with a diversified, multi-faceted real estate advisory and investment group looking to add a Head of Asset Management to their team in London. The successful candidate will be focused on commercial real estate, looking to drive revenue growth through building and maintaining relationships with real estate investment clients at a senior level.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the asset management team on commercial property, working across research, analysis and underwriting whilst working with the field team on field visits and research
• Manage and expand the underwriting team, servicing clients across Europe on advisory services and loans
• Be the point of contact for banks/bankers and develop lasting relationships with senior and executive level banking staff/third party suppliers and partners
• Account management and relationship management responsibility with accountability for the growth of the desk and its associated businesses/propositions
• Offer risk management solutions and provide market analysis to clients on loan positions and financial markets pertaining to the real estate market
• Comply with financial reporting and compliance standards, ensuring the desk is operating under the companies strict compliance framework and AML accountabilities
• Work with the wider team on stock market capitalisation and credit ratings
• Act as a sounding board to the senior leadership team on growth strategy and target market success rates Experience:
• 8 years experience in real estate asset management and underwriting/advisory services
• Proven ability to lead and grow a diversified team on a real estate desk
• Prior experience in a large real estate asset management firm
• Good understanding of dent markets and a thorough knowledge of lease structuring including ELT.
• Good understanding of RE terminology
• Project Management experience
