Management Accountant

Your new company
This well established manufacturing company in Bury is going through change and need support during this transformational period. Due to this they are looking for a temporary Management Accountant with a track record of impacting factory performance, through costing, commercial margin and stock control. This will ideally gained in the manufacturing environment. Additionally, providing full accounting function and support for selected profit centres including statutory accounts.

Your new role
You will help to improve the current preparation of annual budget and forecasts, factory costs and looking after the monthly management accounts. Another key aspect to your job will be to analyse factory performance and to identify variances and trends. Additionally, providing full accounting function and support for selected profit centres including period and statutory accounts. You will have a part time assistant accountant who reports into you where you have the chance to mentor them through an exciting time for the business.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong understanding in the previously mentioned areas, and be qualified in ACCA, ACA, or CIMA (or similar/qualified by experience). The business has requested that you will have gained previous experience in roles within Manufacturing and be good on systems. You will have strong communication skills and a personable nature to fit into the team culture.
