Role Profile An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our IKEA contract. Reporting to the contract accountant, the role will involve day to day running of the site finance department, covering all financial aspects of the contract. This includes financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and responsibility for one member of staff. Main duties: Prepare weekly and monthly financial accounts and reports Analyse financial performance and provide variance commentary Balance sheet reconciliations Work alongside non-financial staff to produce accounts, review accounts, develop strong commercial awareness and support financial decision making Produce weekly and monthly forecasts Prepare budget submissions Responsible for one member of staff Debtor management Ad hoc reporting as required Person Profile: Customer focused with drive to achieve Be able to demonstrate previous relevant experience Thorough and robust ledger knowledge Be able to work under pressure whilst maintaining high standards Have excellent PC skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail Can do attitude with willingness to challenge the status quo Skills: Part qualified ACCA / CIMA or qualified through experience About Us: It is an exciting time to join us...Wincanton is a leading Third Party Logistics (3PL) firm, providing supply chain consultancy and solutions to some of the world's most admired brands in the UK and Ireland.
