Job Purpose: Support the MI System upgrade project through the specification and communication of business requirements, liaison with development resource and other stakeholders, testing of planned solutions and other project related tasks; Prepare project closure summary of open actions for project sponsor consideration; Deliver required projected forecast simulations to support FinRep Regulatory reporting. Primary Responsibilities / Activities Creation and amendment of functional specification documentation pertaining to FinRep business projection capability. Preparation of test scripts and actioning these as part of pre-UAT. Assist in planning and resourcing the system testing required in relation to the IT "Build" cycle and reconcile data flows into the Oracle general ledger and "TheMIS" (DWH / Reporting) systems. Performing financial and other data reconciliations to support the testing of system upgrade developments and new reporting enhancements. Identify opportunities for efficiency through automation and process improvement. Co-ordinate with other BA's, DBAs, developers, business users, IT etc on the TheMIS project and other developments that have dependencies with TheMIS. Develop and maintain good working relationships with Operations, Systems and Front office departments. Provide assistance to Finance functions within the European division. Provide assistance to the MI team manager as required. Other Ad-hoc projects tasks as required. Special Requirements: Requires some late working.
