The role of the Finance Assistant is to support the Finance department in overseeing SAP procedures including the Purchase Order system and with the processing of purchase invoices and expense claims including credit card expenses. The Finance Assistant will also provide support in the monthly Pay As You Go Licensing Fees invoicing and Test BU invoicing. You will also be expected to provide assistance to the Accounts Administrator in terms of inputting expense claims, bank reconciliations, filing, scanning and archiving and assisting the FC with the monthly updating of spreadsheets, including prepayments and Fixed Asset Register and posting of simple month-end journals. Essential Requirements: GCSE or equivalent Maths and English at Grade A to C and or A level in Maths Microsoft Office Microsoft Excel to intermediate/Advance level Honesty and integrity Communication and interpersonal Organisational and administrative Attention to detail Accuracy Numeracy Calm under pressure One to two years' experience in Finance Assistant capacity AT, ACCA or CIMA part qualified Accounting or Economics and Finance degree Desirable Requirements: Knowledge of SAP/Sage Willing to partake in AAT or ACCA study This is a full time role working a 37.5 hour week between Monday to Friday. The salary will range from £17-£20k dependent on experience.
