My Manufacturing client based in Leighton Buzzard are seeking a hungry and dynamic accounting professional who is eager to fully immerse themselves in a Group entity that spans across Europe, gaining a full understanding of the organisations accounting procedures, performing multiple accounting and reporting requirements. As an applicant you will look to go the extra step to fully interrogate the information you are analysing, be seeking an accounting position that offers exposure to a wide range of accounting tasks and be keen to develop yourself technically, furthering your accounting career. Duties will include but not be limited to: Assist the Finance Director with production and presentation of the management accounts and group reporting pack to a strict timetable Assisting with annual budget and bi annual forecast preparation providing accurate margin analysis Maintain the standard costing system, to include calculation of overhead absorption rates Inventory control Interrogation of material costs and margins, and variance analysis Assisting with the annual audit To be considered for this vacancy you will need. Ideally to be studying via ACCA, CIMA or ACA, latter stages or newly qualified. Will have had experience within a manufacturing environment Strong system skills to include Excel and ERP packages such as SAP Self-motivated individual with the ability to work as part of a close team.
