A national wholesale and distribution business that is part of a major global group of companies is looking for a Credit Supervisor to join their Head Office in Warrington. The business includes 7 trading divisions with sites across the UK and these growing businesses require a Credit Supervisor to supervise credit control teams at 6 of their regional offices. You'll be based at their prestigious Warrington location, but will be required to travel across the UK as part of the role. As Credit Supervisor you will: Supervise a team of 8-10 experienced credit controllers Report to the Finance Director and other key stakeholders Work closely with the commercial directors within the group Liaise with department heads, managers and teams to ensure the smooth running of the credit and collections processes and systems Oversee the timely collection of payments from all customers and the end to end activities to recover any overdue debt. Be responsible for the debt collection systems Prepare monthly bad debt provisions Calculate any increase/decrease in the general provision Monitor high-risk accounts and take action where necessary Have responsibility for a debtor book of approximately £16m Be provided with professional development and mentoring from an experienced Credit Manager Have the opportunity to progress to Credit Manager Requirements For this Credit Supervisor role, you should be an ambitious individual who is: A confident communicator and advisor with great interpersonal skills From a credit control background with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory/ team leader role Numerically minded and bright Professional and organised Able to work collaboratively Commercially astute and able to make decisions Looking to take the next step in your career and keen to progress in the future Rewards On offer is a starting salary of £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience), plus uncapped bonus, company car allowance, healthcare and pension.
