Are you ACCA/ACA/AAT part-qualified? If you have 2 years or more recent experience in an Accountancy Practice Firm, this role could be ideal. We are looking for a part-qualified ACCA student to join us in our growing Accounts and Outsourcing team based in Central London. You'll be joining a talented team committed to delivering a high-quality service to a varied portfolio of clients. About the role You will be responsible for ensuring clients needs are met in a timely and effective manner whilst ensuring all opportunities for added value are identified. Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and review of disclosures under a range of accounting frameworks, including FRS102 and IFRS Assisting with the preparation and submission of VAT and employer taxes i.e. PAYE, P11D and PSA Assisting in the preparation of monthly/quarterly management reports for a range of clients Bookkeeping duties using a variety of accounting software e.g. Sage, Xero Processing of invoices and payments, maintaining accounts payables/receivables ledgers, bank reconciliation, posting journals and accruals, year-end reporting and intergroup reconciliations if applicable Preparation of basic corporation tax returns Understanding client internal controls and where weaknesses are identified, suggesting improvements Performing on-site assignments/secondments at client's premises Ensuring completion of assigned areas of work within the time budget and deadlines to the standard set and with a minimum of supervision by the manager Seeking to continuously improve systems and procedures Providing assistance to junior staff as and when required Prioritising your own work and deadlines About you ACCA/ACA/AAT Part-Qualified Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an Accountancy Practice Firm Basic knowledge of accounting packages and statutory accounts preparation software (ideally Xero and caseware experience) Basic knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and FRS 102 How we put 'you' first Competitive salary Flexible benefits package Cycle to work and childcare voucher schemes Interest-free season ticket loan Social and wellbeing groups Comprehensive support for professional qualifications where possible.
