CMA Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our Blue Chip Basingstoke based client on a permanent basis. This role will be a Team Manager within the Financial Reporting and Controls team delivering management accounting and reporting to specific business areas. The wider remit will be to gain a solid understanding of the business to provide appropriate reporting and support the budgeting and forecasting processes, as well as developing the team and contributing to the improvement of systems and processes. Key areas of responsibility: Managing the completion of month end; Liaise with Finance Business Partners to assist in the financial management of the business; Preparing month end reports with detailed analysis and commentary on the financial results; Consolidating forecast, budget and three-year plan submissions; Preparing headcount costs information; Supporting the wider team to improve processes and automate reporting; Ad hoc projects and analysis; Mentoring, training and conducting appraisals for a small team. Candidates will be fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with a strong technical accounting knowledge and background, ideally gained in practice. Strong communications, a commercially focussed mind-set and ideally experience of working with ERP systems (SAP will be beneficial).
