The Group financial reporting team deliver all aspects financial reporting to the board and shareholders. Rubix now seeks a Group Financial Manager in London with a salary range offered of £65,000 to £70,000 plus benefits.The closing date for applications is 11/05/2019 The role The Group Financial Manager will contribute to the combined responsibilities of the group financial reporting team, which include: Timely preparation of high quality financial information, including monthly Flash and Actual results to the board Ensuring timely and quality submissions by the country teams including trouble shooting any issues arising and exploring unexpected results Ad hoc analysis as requested by management/shareholder Partnering with the FP&A team to prepare budgets and forecasts Preparation of consolidated financial statements to a tight deadline, including liaising with auditors and external advisors Supporting the treasury team on bank reporting, covenant reporting and forecasting Providing support to countries on technical accounting matters Developing strong knowledge of Tagetik (group consolidation software), ensuring that the system is updated for new acquisitions and business developments and can be trusted as the Group's single source of truth for financial results. Ensuring continued development and improvement of the group's reporting and controls environment in anticipation of a potential exit Specific responsibilities of the Group Financial Manager will include, but not be limited to: Preparation of all P&L schedules for Flash & actual reporting Using constant perimeter (like for like) reporting in order to assess the Group's performance with and without acquisitions. On a quarterly basis, challenging and reviewing rebate income recognised to date and forecast for the outturn with the Head of Group purchase controlling identifying any risks or opportunities against forecast/budget Partnering with the transformation team to assess the relevant run rate adjustments to EBITDA in both actuals and forecast Providing management and the board with detailed analysis of exceptional spend to date and forecast, including both P&L and cash flow impact Liaising with the local teams and the M&A department to obtain budget/plan details for new acquisitions in order to overlay to the Group budget Working closely with the other members of the Group reporting team to ensure all deadlines achieved by the team Experience Required Requirements of this role are that candidates should have: ACA qualification, with "Big 4" background and strong academic background including a finance-related degree Strong technical accounting knowledge and commercial awareness, including strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and preparation of accounting policies in line with IFRS Technical experience in IFRS 16 lease accounting, demonstrated by either implementation or detailed research into the standard at a previous company Experience of complex consolidations (>100 entities) and large multicurrency groups are vital to the role (ideally in at least 2 previous roles); Experience in complicated intercompany transactions and eliminations is critical Experience of implementation/development of Group Consolidation software programme, In particular data migration and troubleshooting on at least one complete end to end software implementation project Ability to work in a global environment and work with colleagues in a virtual network Ability to work with the local finance teams in order to streamline the month end close and statutory accounts process in order to reduce the preparation time of the statutory accounts in anticipation of a potential IPO. This should be demonstrated in a past role by a substantial shortening of the timeframe of statutory reporting and improved quality of financial statements Experience managing junior staff Advanced Microsoft Excel, Access/database knowledge and PowerPoint skills Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organised Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated Please apply with CV and covering letter, explaining how you meet the above requirements, to Will Cummings at Dartmouth Partners by 11th May 2019.
