Accounts Payable Supervisor, High-end Events & Hospitality, Temp-Perm, London, Immediate start, up to £15 per hour Your new company: This high-end and successful business, based in London, is one of the UKs leading Events and Hospitality groups. They are now looking to recruit an immediately available Accounts Payable Supervisor to support the AP manager and oversee the Accounts Payable Assistants within the team. This job has become available due to growth within the team and recent success of the company. Your new role: You will be working as part of a friendly, fast-paced finance team. Main responsibilities include:
• Supervising 2 Accounts Payable Assistants and overseeing the teams duties - ensuring all invoices are processed in a timely manner
• Day-to-day running of the purchase ledger, including System administration and process improvements
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier invoices
• Managing and processing weekly payment runs and employee expenses
• Act as one of the key points of contact for suppliers
• Ad-hoc tasks required to support the AP Manager and AP team What you need to succeed: You will need to have 3-5 years of strong Accounts Payable experience gained in a fast paced, high volume invoice environment. You will have previous experience within a supervisory role and be confident in your Accounting abilities. You will be a real people person with strong organisational skills and a positive, can-do attitude. You will have an open mind, with the ability to adapt to change as the success within continues to push this team forwards.
