Harris Hill are recruiting for a Head of Finance for the well-established charity that specialises in Historical Information.You will manage a team of 6 and report to the Director of Finance & Resources. The position requires you to be responsible for the day to day Finance operations and financial and management reporting for all income and expenditure for its trading subsidiary, providing a professional finance service in accordance with relevant legislation and best practice.The postholder will be required to develop and maintain the financial system and business processes, providing performance reporting and analysis which underpin the operation of the charity and its commercial enterprises to ensure a value for money approach.The Head of Finance will be responsible for the day-to-day preparation and review of monthly management accounts (including income and expenditure statement, balance sheet, cashflow statement, funds summary, salary summary) and performance reports for the charity and its trading subsidiary. Lead on year-end accounts, trading subsidiary financial statements and annual report, in line with relevant reporting standards.
