Hays Senior Finance are Exclusively Partnered with a growing manufacturing and design business in West Lothian. Our client is a highly successful and growing SME business with a unique and bespoke product offering that has served their customer base for over 20 years. The Finance Manager will support the running of the finance function alongside the managing director and will be responsible for leading the Finance team and supporting inter-company accounting across international channels. This is an exciting role, primed for a commercial finance manager to develop their experience in a fast-paced SME business.

Your new role
The Finance manager is part of the senior management team and will lead and support a small finance team of 3. You will have a continuous improvement approach supporting management and financial accounting processes, VAT, cash-flow reporting and budgeting and forecasting activities. you will have extensive experience in inter-company accounting and a strong technical accounting skill set to advise the MD on the businesses financial position to enhance business operations. You will oversee payroll processing and the transactional management of the business as well as supporting long-term growth strategies, creating innovation and ideas to help the business grow.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant with considerable experience in industry to support the financial management of the business. You will have strong communication and leadership skills to support and develop the team aswell as the ability to improve processes and create innovation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced finance manager who can operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels
