Job Details

Working within a busy finance team you will assist with chasing any outstanding payments and work towards reducing the aged debt.You will also reconcile customer payments to the sales ledger ensuring the ledger is kept clean and up to date, deal with complex account and invoice queries while at the same time offering a high level of customer service.

Description

The role for the credit controller will include but not limited to:

  • Proactively chasing any outstanding invoices via telephone or email
  • Develop and maintain long lasting relationships both internal and external
  • Reconciling customer payments to the ledger
  • Resolving any account and invoice queries in a timely manner
  • Identifying any potential risks the credit manager/ team leader

Profile

The succesful candidate will have the following :

  • Previous credit control experience - Essential
  • Excellent communication skills - Essential
  • Reconciliation and cash allocation experience -Essential
  • Account and invoice query management - Essential
  • Ability to priorities work load - Essential
  • Excellent IT and excel skills including Vlookups & Pivot tables - Essential
  • Good attention to detail - Essential
  • Strong team player but can also work on own initiative - Essential
