Credit Controller, Letchworth Garden City- £20-£24K Quattro recruitment are on the hunt for an experience Credit controller to join our client based in Letchworth Garden City. The business is a market leader within the Motor Industry- a well-known, exciting brand to be a part of. Details for the Credit Controller Position:
• You will need to escalate and track progress of queries raised with other departments and within finance
• Methodically work through the sales ledger in a consistent manner to ensure all overdue debs are contacted
• You will need to produce high quality work volumes and call statistics
• Escalate to the Credit Manager at the earliest opportunity accounts that are problematical clients and risk of bad debts
• You will need to understand the client's payment process and the procedures and ensure calls are made in a timely manner to coincide with payment cycles
• Allocation of customer's payments
• Maintain an accurate collection diary with notes and times of calls, including details on top level account status for management reports
• Other office duties will be included to help maintain the smooth running of the business Essential requirements needed for the Credit Controller Position:
• You must have at least 18 months' experience working with in a similar role ideally in the construction industry
• Previous experience in Microsoft Dynamics is desirable not essential
• You will need to possess a high level of IT Literacy
• You will need to be a strong negotiator across all levels considering client and business constraints
• You will need to be a self-motivator with great attention to detail and possess brilliant organisational skill. In return for your hard work as a Credit Controller:
