Macildowie Finance are working with a well-respected Leicestershire based business to recruit a Commercial Finance Manager. The role is based at firms UK head office which is located close to the M1 motorway. Due to the firms location they are commutable distance from all areas of Leicestershire, Nottingham, Derby, Coventry / Warwickshire and Northamptonshire. Our client is a fast paced and highly dynamic organisation with a proven track record of internal promotions and development planning. Reporting into the Commercial Financial Controller who has progressed with the organisation over a 10 year career, you will be responsible for supporting commercial teams with the production of KPI's and your performance commentary, budgets, forecasts and decision support analytics. Your responsibilities will include; Act as a true Finance Business Partner - delivering reports in a clear and concise manner, helping non finance stakeholder to interpret financial performance metrics. Management, coaching and development of a team of analysts. Variance analysis - highlighting areas for potential improvement and providing commentary on key drivers. Take a lead on budgeting, planning and forecasting activity for the region, working closely with the operational teams to help decipher information and provide your commentary on variance to plan/budgets. Sales and cost analysis and reporting - highlighting opportunities to improve business performance through efficiency gains. Continuous improvement of processes and projects in line with wider business initiatives Preparation and presentation of key performance statistics to senior level operational stakeholders. To be considered for this role you must be qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA. Previous staff management experience is essential. You must have advanced data manipulation/ Excel skills including Pivots, Look Ups and Ifs.
