Finance Manager job in Liverpool for a tech-enabled consumer products business. £45000 to £55000

Your new role
This is a senior role within the Finance team and reports to a talented Group Financial Controller.
As a leader within the finance team, you will ensure an efficient month-end close down and will oversee the production of the monthly management accounts for a number of group subsidiaries.

You will be responsible for leading a team that delivers the day to day financial systems, procedures, controls and reporting that the business needs to make sound commercial decisions.

You will oversee all balance sheet control and will apply relevant GAAP to transactions.
At year end you will prepare consolidated statutory accounts and will be the principal point of contact for the audit.

An excellent managerial role for an experienced and technically strong qualified accountant.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified accountant with experience of working for a company in either a subsidiary or a head office role.
You should have experience of preparing statutory accounts and should have a good technical accounting knowledge.
Ideally you will have some staff management experience and have the desire to lead a high performing team.
You'll understand the importance of financial controls and the need for an efficient month end close.
