Job Details
You will be working as part of newly centralised billing team where you will be responsible for the billing, production of client estimates , WIP management and the processing of rechargeable disbursements for the firms clients.

Our client is a leading and one of the largest law firms within their specialism who are located in heart of Manchester City Centre.They have a number of offices across the UK but due to rapid growth they are now looking to expand their billings team based in Manchester.
Description
The duties of the billing co-ordinator will include but not limited to:
- Providing accurate cost estimates and pro forma invoices
- Raising draft invoices for a portfolio of clients on pre-set dates and responding to queries
- Raising, amending and finalising invoices for clients with complex billing arrangements
- Matching revenue with direct costs on a monthly basis
- Producing and circulating WIP reports to Case Managers on a monthly basis
- Providing 1st line support for Basic Billing performed in all of the UK offices
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Experience of billing processes in a law firm or professional services environment - Essential
- Organised and capable of working to strict deadlines - Essential
- Accounting knowledge equivalent to AAT level 2 - Essential
- Proactive and ability to take full ownership for their responsibilities - Essential
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Essential
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail - Essential
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of MS office products, including Intermediate Excel Skill - Essential
Job Offer
