A Financial Planning & Analysis Manager opportunity has become available for a division of a PLC business. Acquired in 2014, the business unit has grown significantly and are keen to continue this growth. The business is in the process of moving their office which will see a split in the finance team. With the transactional and month end finance moving to Devon, the FP&A Manager role will be based out of Marlow.

Your new role
As the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, you will support the Finance Director in the strategic planning of the business. Leading the BU budgeting & forecasting, you will business partner with the senior leadership team to manage the risk and opportunities to achieving financial objectives.

Your role will also support the wider business in its performance, which will see you implement product margin reporting t ensure the sales teams are commercially focused on delivering. You will lead on all support the sales and engineering team with business case approval and finance input to the delivery framework.

The senior leadership team will rely on your input to make key business decisions. You will present to them your variance analysis and advise them on it the BU is under performing and how to rectify these anomalies.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be a qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with at least 5 years PQE. You will have experience in a commercial finance role and have good presentation skills. The ability to business partner effectively is key to this role and a good understanding of financial accountant will give you good grounding in this role.
