MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

Our client is a well-established and growing operational business in the FMCG sector and part of a large group.


Your new role
Due to positive change, this business is are now looking for a Management Accountant to join their team. In this role you would perform a variety of finance tasks to support a division, partnering with a number of separate sites. These responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of weekly accounts and monthly management accounts and providing support to the Purchase Ledger and Credit Control teams. Your role will also involve:

• Reviewing accounts to improve accuracy and quality
• Completing internal audits to maintain and strengthen controls
• Working on projects across the group, such as acquisitions and ERP
• Assisting in projects to improve the business or efficiencies within the Finance Department

The ideal person for this position will be fully qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA. You will have strong experience in technical finance and be commercially astute. Practice experience would be highly advantageous. Strong IT skills are essential especially with MS Excel. In person, you will be team oriented, proactive and communicative. As a Management Accountant, you must be quick to learn, flexible and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. A logical and methodical approach is key, as is a close attention to detail.
