Sole Credit Controller Job - £23,000 - £25,000 depending on experience

Your new role

Is a Standalone Credit Controller position based in the small High Wycombe Sales office. It is positioned within the Finance team who are located in another office.

You will be build and maintain relationships with both customers and other departments in the company, chase and collect overdue payments via both email and phone, as well as working closely with the sales teams to assist with any invoice queries. You will understand the company payment terms and the process of collecting debt and understanding the escalation process as necessary. Keeping the systems up to date, assisting with process improvements and ad hoc reports add to your duties. Working well with your team and to additional duties as requested by your manager.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will have experience in credit control, be confident to chase payments over the phone and have the ability to deal with and identify problem accounts. You will be a team player and assist other members where necessary, but also be able to work independently This role is about maintaining long standing relationships with customers, assessing and minimising risk. You will be confident to work for a large, industry leading, and expanding company. You will have strong Excel skills and preferably some experience with SAP.
