Finance Director - Cardiff

Your new organisation
Our client is a UK based manufacturer with significant experience in their sector. They are recruiting for an Interim Finance Director to take responsibility for the UK operation with a turnover of c£180m. This role would sit as part of the UK Executive team reporting into the UK Managing Director and shareholders.

Your new role
Reporting into the UK Managing Director, you will have responsibility for all accounting, financial reporting & control, company secretarial and legal matters for the UK operation. Key duties include: Delivering strategic leadership to the business and increasing shareholder value, developing and coaching the Finance team, taking full ownership of budgeting, forecasting and business planning, providing commercial decision support through strong influencing skills and business partnering with senior stakeholders both internally & externally.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with over 5 years experience operating as a Finance Director. You must have the ability to demonstrate strong analytical skills and be able to develop strategic/profitable outcomes. You must be a strong communicator with high levels of integrity/trust. Previous manufacturing experience would be desirable but not essential.

You will receive up to £50 p/h PAYE or LTD (inclusive of holiday pay) depending on experience on an initial 6 months placement. This placement could be a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
