Financial Accountant opportunity in West Lothian for a leading international FMCG business


Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are recruiting on behalf of a well-known FMCG business in West Lothian to recruit a financial accountant. Our client are an international business with multi-site operations. The finance business is a key part of operations and have a key role in decision making. The financial accountant will report to the finance manager utilising both technical and commercial experience to add value.

Your new role
The financial accountant will e responsible for reviewing the results of month end, balance sheet reconciliation, financial control assessment, budgeting & forecasting and performance reporting. You will work with cost centre to managers to help them understand their numbers and help improve performance. You will also liaise with group requirements including tax, internal and external audit to support group standards.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will be recently qualified looking to take the next step in your career in financial reporting however those qualified by experience will also be considered. This role is suited to a financial accountant who enjoys working with numbers to influence change, whilst this is a financial accounting role there will be high levels of business partnering with operations to drive performance.

Experience of ERP systems is beneficial aswell as strong excel knowledge

What you'll get in return
In addition to working as part of a great team you will be offered a salary depending on experience ranging from £33,000- £40,000 with a competitive benefits package including pension, flexible benefits and company specific benefits.
