The Company This is a privately-owned, maintenance and property services company in the based in the Midlands working on behalf of Housing Associations and Councils covering day to day reactive repairs and works on a range of property types. They are looking for a Finance Manager / Book Keeper to expand their fast-paced working environment in Derby and join the Operations Director and the Finance team this year The Role As the Finance Manager / Book Keeper you will be responsible for:
• Monitoring the company's finances
• Looking after the all of the company's accounts
• Overseeing the processing of invoices
• Managing a team of 4 direct reports and ensuring the completion of their tasks for the department and company
• Overseeing the processing of the company's payroll
• Dealing with finance related queries via telephone and email
• Elements of credit control, working with VAT and processing CIS payments About You To be successful within the role as a Finance Manager / Book Keeper you will:
• Experience of working in a Finance Manager/ Book Keeper role previously
• You must be experienced in working with SAGE systems
• Be AAT accredited
• You must be experience d in working with Management Accounts
• Intermediate to advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Assertive, tenacious, with an ability to influence others and be resilient to challenging demands of the company.
• Self-disciplined, with excellent time management skills and the ability to coordinate a number of priorities.
• Ability to multi-task, and work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Background in Property Services and Maintenance is preferred In Return
• Paying £25,000 - £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
• 20 days holidays
• 08:00am-5:00pm - Monday to Friday
