Apprentice (Credit Control) Based at our Altham, Lancashire Head Office Competitive Pay Rate Study Time Excellent Company Benefits. Employing 1,500 staff with manufacturing sites across East Lancashire, USA and Australia, our business is a genuine success story and since being established in the early 1970's has grown from strength to strength through our unique design and manufacturing of innovative office furniture which we supply to our network of customers across 70 countries. We are currently looking for an Apprentice to join the Credit Control team. You will be given ownership of a ledger of accounts and communicate with a variety of stakeholders on a daily basis. This is an exciting role for someone who is organised, a great communicator and who is looking to start their career with a global, successful company. Training will be a mix between on the job learning provided by the department they are working within, alongside support and training from the apprentice provider. The qualification will be delivered through a mixture of online learning and face to face visits. The apprentice will also be able to access and Microsoft Office training which will benefit them in their role. The Role: Full ownership of ledger of accounts. Chasing outstanding debts. Resolving queries. Posting and allocating payments. Raising invoices and credit notes. Issuing statements and overdue letters. Communicating with a various range of stakeholders of varying seniority. The Person:
• GCSE or equivalent English, Maths, Science, IT etc. (Grade A- C) - (Essential)
• Excellent communication & IT skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Strong Customer care skills
• Able to work as part of a Team. Further training or progression into other roles may be a possibility dependent upon performance during the apprenticeship. Benefits Include;
