Business Support Associate/Accounts Payable Associate Henley-on-thames 6-9 Months Competitive rate IQ Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Business Sales Associate to join their finance team on a 6-9 month contract.
Responsibilities:
- Provides regional business support for core activities within P2P and O2C for Business Unit and FCS Functions - In coordination with the Global Shared Service Center, prepares various P2P and O2C reporting as dictated by EMEA statutory requirements - Supports partnership with End-to-End Leads and Performance Management team to identify continuous improvement opportunities - Supports Business Support Manager in coordinating and leading various EMEA onsite employee trainings on P2P and O2C policies and technology as required - Performs audit analytics, enforces policies and controls, and provides reporting to management - Supports expansion within the Global or Regional SSC, including documentation, training, and stabilization of transitioned processes - Performs AR collection activities as required - Reviews monthly GBS metrics compiled for areas of responsibility; reviews analysis of trends and works with Business Support Manager to recommend remediation plans for areas that are not meeting established service level obligations - Supports customer issue escalation processes for GBS inquiries in line with the GBS interaction model Skills and Experience: - Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - General understanding of internal control elements; familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements - General understanding of the integration components and impacts across the O2C and P2P processes - Good written and oral communication skills - Ability to execute against strict deadlines and when faced with changing situations - Attention to detail and ability to take direction - Accountancy certification highly preferred but not required - 3 to 5 years of Accounting experience, preferably supporting a Customer Relationship Management role - Ideal candidate will have some experience working in a shared service center supporting global operations - Experience working across O2C and P2P process streams preferred - Experience with accounting and financial systems, preferably Oracle
