9.00-5.00 Mon - Thurs, 8.00-4.00 Friday (1/2 lunch each day)
Balance sheet reconciliation and VAT reporting to SSC as required are also responsibilities of the position. SAP knowledge is important for the role. There are no direct reports. This position reports into the packaging Services Finance Manager.
To be a key support member for the packaging service business covering sales ledger, purchasing ledger and operations functionality.
Responsible for the invoice process within packaging services and will be required to liaise with our internal and external supplier base and company shared services.
Daily tasks will include ensuring completeness of sales invoicing, reconciling key account sales and self billing notifications, assisting the site with the resolution of queries from the SSC and facilitating the smooth transfer of data to and from the SSC.
- To ensure all purchase invoices are processed in a timely manner and ensure completeness by end of each month.
- Having a good understanding of the correct process to follow if queries arise and monitoring for resolutions to ensure payments are made within the agreed payment terms.
- To obtain all relevant self-billing information and process accordingly.
