1 yr FTC VAT Accountant

VAT Accountant required for a 1 year FTC contract paying to £35,000 covering maternity leave in Manchester

Your new company
Our client is a recognised name based on the outskirt of Manchester and we are seeking a VAT Accountant to cover a 12 month maternity cover.

Your new role
Working with a talented and ambitious Head of VAT you will be working in a small team and be responsible for all aspects of VAT compliance and the submission of statistical returns for the european VAT registrations.


What you'll need to succeed
Your job will be to :

* Produce periodic returns and declarations as required for the registration / entities
* Carry out pre-submission audit checks
* Carry out submission of periodic returns
* Arrange the submission of returns
* Reconcile VAT and statistical returns
* Produce EC lists

What you'll get in return
