Band 5 Management Accountant

Your new company

My public sector client based in Southend-on-Sea is looking to recruit a Temporary Band 5 Management Accountant, who will report to the Group Finance Manager on a 3 month basis.

Your new role

You will report to the Group Finance Manager and you will be responsible for the month-end processing of the following MSB Budgets: Transformation, MSB & Institute (PMO), STP Transformation. You will also support a number of corporate business cases that are in the pipeline for the next 3 months.

• Preparation of month end
• Accruals
• Financial reporting
• Liaising with other managerial staff
• Controlling and forecasting income and expenditure

What you'll need to succeed

You will be a part qualified, who is comfortable with management accounts and month end. This role requires a methodical approach, a good eye for detail and management accounting experience.

Hours - 9.00am - 17.00pm to start ASAP
