FINANCE TRAINING SCHEME – INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITY

We have an exciting International Traineeship opportunity in Finance, with the opportunity to gain experience in 3 of our subsidiaries across the globe. For the right candidate, the program provides an accelerated career progression within the Lindt & Sprungli Group.

You will start your training in the UK, where you’ll be joining a TOP 20 UK GREAT PLACE TO WORK, where our purpose of "Making People Feel Special" is at the heart of everything we do. This program is designed for people who meet the following criteria:
 

• University Degree in Finance or Business Management
• A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
• Interested in international career opportunities in Finance
• Geographical flexibility (also for after the traineeship) and knowledge of foreign languages (English is a must; any additional European language is an asset)
• Effective communication skills
• Strong analytical, logical and business partnering capabilities
• Ability to build strong relationships across a business

What is the Program? 

This is an 18 month program, with six month placements in three different Lindt & Sprüngli subsidiaries to gain experience in:
 

• Commercial Finance
• Factory/Operational Accounting
• Financial Accounting

What it will be covering:
 

• Monthly Reporting
• Budget & Forecasting
• Analytics

Ideally, you will have:
 

• A University degree in Finance, Business Management or other relevant course
• Studying towards CIMA or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of Excel and experience of accounting systems - SAP, TPM and Cognos would be an advantage
• EU / Swiss passport (Schengen) as a must (Visa restrictions)

Upon successful completion of the program we aim to offer the trainee a permanent position in Finance in one of our operating companies within the Lindt & Sprüngli Group.
