Job Details
The purpose of the Interim Management Accountant, based in Rotherham, is to take responsibility for the month end and transactional processes for the site. This includes preparation of month end accounts as well as being responsible for the ledger processes

My client is working exclusively with me on a number of roles, the most urgent of which is the Interim Management Accountant position. They are well-established and are highly regarding as experts in their field. One of their main manufacturing sites is in Rotherham, where this role is based.
Description
The Interim Management Accountant position is a very hands-on, urgent need and comprises briefly of the following main attributes, among others:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, ledger postings and tax pack
- Preparation of financial and management information as requested by all stakeholders
- To get involved in any ad-hoc projects both at the transactional level and above
- Undertake ad-hoc finance tasks during the month end or year end process
Profile
The ideal candidate for the Interim Management Accountant position will have the following attributes prior to applying for the role:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or QBE will be considered
- Experience of working in the manufacturing sector
- Ideally someone who has come from a smaller business background and has therefore been involved at all levels, transactional to full accounts prep
- Be able start immediately (1 week notice period absolute max)
Job Offer
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum equivalent depending on experience
3-6 months or potential interim-to-permanent for the right person
