We currently have an opportunity to recruit an entry level Finance trainee into our Farnborough office. We are looking for a graduate to join our team and gain experience in a variety of finance areas whilst working towards an accounting qualification. We will support your studies for a world-class professional qualification such as CIMA or ACCA through appropriate time off for exams and financial support for tuition. Upon completion of your qualification you will be a professionally qualified accountant with extensive experience gained with a global leader in the engineering and construction industry.

The Role 

This is a broad role supporting the General Accounting finance team and encompasses aspects of commercial, statutory and management accounting. You will be progressively exposed to a wide variety of work and will gain experience of different systems including SAP. 

The Candidate 

You must be a recent graduate or be on track to graduate this year with a Bachelor’s degree ideally in a finance or business related discipline, coupled with a passion for finance and a willingness to undertake a professional qualification while working. 

You should be an organised, analytical and proactive individual and enjoy managing multiple activities under pressure, as well as giving the necessary attention to detail to build a successful career in finance. 

Flexibility, eagerness to learn and willingness to be a supportive member of the finance department are essential. Experience of Excel is advantageous.

The Office

Fluor’s Farnborough campus is a modern, state-of-the-art complex situated close to the main line station and adjoining Farnborough Airport. Our campus accommodates approximately 2,000 people and includes undercover parking, outdoor recreation and seating areas, a central coffee shop, subsidised restaurant and good access to local shopping and transportation networks. A shuttle bus service operates between the two local stations and is also available at lunch times for trips to local shopping centres.
