Job Details

This is now a PERMANENT role within a busy finance function, assisting the Management Accountant in all aspects of their day-to-day role

Client Details

My client are a growing, entrepreneurial leisure business based in Cheltenham

Description

  • Review processes to identify areas of improvement
  • Prepare weekly status reports with variance analysis
  • Support the reconciliation and posting of credit card statements
  • Prepare monthly & quarterly reporting packs for submission to Group
  • Support with preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flows
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Check and approve supplier bank details
  • Check and Authorise the weekly payment run
  • Investigate supplier queries
  • Ensuring that appropriate accounting processes, systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained
  • Provide support during the audit process and preparation of the statutory accounts
  • Ad hoc projects as may be requested by the Management Accountants

    • Profile

  • AAT qualified or studying for professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA)
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and both verbal and written Communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy whilst working to tight deadlines
  • 2 years' experience in a similar role.

    • Job Offer

    This role will pay a salary of £20-25,000 dependant on skills and experience.
