Financial Controller for a large US owned manufacturing business

Your new company
I am currently supporting a large US owned manufacturing business to recruit a Financial Controller for a key site based in Birmingham.

Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for the financial strategy of the business unit and you will work closely with the Senior Management Team to deliver strategic goals. Leading a small team you will take full ownership of all forecasting,planning and reporting requirements for the US group, with a focus on accurate P&L and cash flow forecasts. You will review the internal control program to ensure a robust control environment in maintained and you will also act as trusted business partner to senior stakeholders across the business unit.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will be a fully qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualified experience in reporting and operational finance roles. Experience of working in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of US GAAP is highly desirable.
