Exciting Finance Assistant role with Study support and Progression, Temp to perm

My Client, an Industry leading business based in Telford, are looking for an ambitious Finance Assistant to join their team. They would ideally like this to be on a temporary to permanent basis but may consider straight permanent.

Your new role
This is an outstanding opportunity to join a dynamic and very experience Finance team, where you will support the team to deliver timely and accurate month end reporting, intercompany reconciliations and fixed asset maintenance and to also process Sales invoices.

You duties will include:

• Intercompany reconciliations
• Fixed Asset Maintenance
• Analysis and investigative work
• Assist in the preparation of accruals and prepayments
• Assist in delivering the month end process,
• fixed assets
• Assist with the audit process, year end reporting and any other adhoc duties
• Provide accounting assistance to all departments in finance, including covering sales ledger, purchase ledger, credit control and other areas as appropriate

What you'll need to succeed
You should ideally be studying AAT (level 3 or above ideally) and be very keen to progress further with your studies. You should have previous Accounting experience and be a confident communicator who works really well in a team. You should be professional, able to work to tight deadlines, proactive and able to make decisions.
