Interim Site Accountant Job In Ashbourne - £39,000 - 6 Month Fixed Term Contract - Manufacturing

Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be working with a market leading FMCG to help them recruit for an Interim Site Accountant on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract basis, providing an integral part of the Ashbourne site's Finance team, supporting the Finance Manager and Operational team.

Your new role

The team's purpose is to provide an effective management accounting service for the site, ensuring robust financial control, reliable performance measurement and proactive decision support for business improvement opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

• Accurate weekly & monthly financial reporting.
• Management & preparation of weekly KPI information for review.
• Meeting local & Group deadlines for submissions.
• Effective communication to stakeholders prior to and during issue of results.
• Highest level of integrity in balance sheet values and reconciliations.
• Responses to inquiries from local & site colleagues, auditors & stakeholders.
• Automated processes to prepare accounts.
• Provision of financial information to management upon request.
• Proactive assistance to Finance Manager.
