Finance Manager - Permanent role - Public Sector organisation based in East Lancashire. up to £45k

Your new company
You will be working for a large public sector organisation who provide services across East Lancashire and have been commended for their work in the local community. Support a large number of local residents and services they are now going through a period of transformation and are looking for an excellent Finance Manager to join their already experienced and diverse team.


Your new role
Following a period of transformation your new role as Finance Manager will see you provide integral support to the finance function as well as the wider business. You will be a keen business partner and will manage a team in working in a specific area of the organisation.

Duties and responsibilities will include -

- Monthly management accounts - preparation and submission
- Preparation of statutory accounts
- Support on corporate and portfolio projects
- Work with Heads of Service in preparing annual budgets
- Lead specific Projects across both Finance and wider business
- Be a key player in the update of systems


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified chartered Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) and will be looking for a role where you can make a real difference that affects a large number of people in the community. You will be commercially astute whilst having previous experience slanted towards either, Technical Accounting, Systems and Projects or Management Accounts. You will be keen and eager to progress your career.
