Finance/Administration Manager - £28,000 - £32,000 per annum - Care Sector - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire-Hays

Your new company

Hays Accountancy & Finance are exclusively partnering with a leading and well-established Care Group based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire to recruit for a hands-on and experienced Finance Business Administration Manager. You will take a lead managing the administrative and financial procedures within the Care Home reporting directly into the Care Manager and Group Finance Team. A varied management position where you can really add value in growing and successful sector, this permanent role will be 80 % finance and 20 % HR/Administration.

Your new role

Your will be overseeing and supporting two administration employees, taking a lead on financial processes including purchase and sales ledger processing, reconciliations and payment of invoices. You will raise invoices/credits in a timely manner, processing of all new contract along with managing petty cash, credit control processes and resident's billings. You will be expected to input all information required to produce the monthly accounts into the company's financial systems. You will effectively manage the company's payroll, providing regular maintenance of all employee's personal data, starters and leavers, recorded holiday and sickness along with inputting the relevant payroll data onto the system. You will be involved in HR duties including maintaining training records, advising employees on HR policy along with assisting the Care Manager in recruitment of further employees. An extremely varied and hands-on Finance Business Manager role, which will be tailored around the right finance professional, you will be given the opportunity to improve processes and procedures working along-side the Senior Management Team.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this exciting and newly created finance position you will need experience within a similar position, experience within general finance processes with excellent communication skills to build relationships with internal teams and external customers. You will be flexible and adaptable and be keen to learn and improve your own performance with a high level of detail. Ideally you will hold a AAT qualification or NVQ in business administration, candidates qualified by experience will be considered. Any experience working within the Care Sector would be advantageous but not essential.

What you'll get in return

This hands-on Finance Manager role is offering a salary of £28,000 - £31,500 per annum dependable on experience, with on-site parking based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire.
