Clients operate in many sectors including; services, manufacture, retail and wholesale with turnovers ranging from £5m to £50m. The firm is a General Practice providing full-service lines. The firm is a training firm. The Role: Reporting to the Audit Manager on occasions to Partners. The balance of the role will be approximately: audit 60% and accounts 40%. Duties include: Execution of audit/accounts assignments. Assist planning assignments in conjunction with the Senior or Manager Working on a mixed portfolio of SME and UK Subs Assist other (junior) staff for improved performance and technical development Assist senior staff on some special projects The Person: Some experience of OMB/SME private company audits: testing transactions. Planning experience not essential but useful. Experience of preparing year-end accounts for OMB/SME clients. The Package: Very competitive salary. AAT, ACCA or ICAEW study supported. Pension.
