Financial Accountant job working with a global organisation with offices on the Portsmouth outskirts.

Your new company
A well-established global organisation have approached HAYS Senior Finance to recruit a financial accountant to join the central offices in Portsmouth.

Your new role
As Financial Accountant you will report directly into the Finance Manager and will be working within the shared service centre. You will be responsible for the preparation of statutory accounts for global entities within the company where you ideally will have knowledge of IFRS & SOX. You will be working in a medium sized team and will contribute to continuous process improvement.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be part-qualified/finalist or a newly qualified accountant with strong technical accounting experience. You will have ideally worked previously in a global organisation or a top 20 chartered firm and are able to work successfully in a team, lending support and contributing to the overall effectiveness of accounting processes.
