Your new role
Your new role is the perfect opportunity to support you becoming a Divisional Financial Controller for this learing UK and International manufacturing and retail business. Your new role will give you the opportunity to travel across the world on a number of small and large assignments. You will have an opportunity to produce and take part in the budgeting, forecasting, cost control, management of accounts and use the virtual stock system effectively to support the business moving forwards. You will be required to complete ad-hoc reporting, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, report on Profit and Loss and complete end to end management accounts. Ad-hoc reporting will involve data investigation, manage costing effectively and enable you to gain an understanding of the business.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed, you must be nearly qualified or newly qualified CIMA and have manufacturing/retail experience with a strong financial background. You must be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint. You will have a firm Management Accountant background and be able to work with a variety of stakeholders across the business. You will have an ability to explain divisional performances. You must be self-motivated and able to get on with tasks without being micro managed. You should have a Commercial acumen and be able to deal with sales and merchandising teams to make sure sales forecasting data is accurate.
