You will work for a leading specialist company based in the outskirts of Derry. Due to continued expansion and development this company require a Company Accountant to work in their well established and busy finance team.

Your new role
As Company Accountant you will work in a busy accounting department assisting the Financial Controller whilst supporting the CFO. Key responsibilities include: assisting in the preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts to include a profit & loss, balance sheet and agreed management reports to monthly deadlines; accounts receivable tracking, aged analysis & month end reconciliations; accounts payable tracking, aged analysis & month end reconciliations; stock reporting/aged analysis; stock turnover reports; intercompany reconciliations; balance sheet account reconciliations; perform additional ad hoc tasks for Group Finance as required.

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional Accounting Qualification desirable but not essential
• Detail oriented, effective communication skills and commercially aware
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Capacity to perform efficiently within a dynamic business environment
• Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines
