Job Details
Working within a small but busy and friendly finance team you will work closely with the credit control team ensuring that any invoice queries are resolved in a timely manner while taking ownership of the sales ledger. This is a newly created role and will give you an opportunity to stamp your own authority with the potential to progress your career.

Description
The key responsibilities for the sales ledger will include but not limited to :
- Take control of uploading invoices to customer EDI systems and portals
- Work along side the credit control team and will assist with chasing debt as and when required
- Account and invoice query management
- Assisting with releasing credit stopped orders
- Take ownership of the sales ledger ensuring all information is kept up to date
- Reconciliation
Profile
The successful candidate will have the following :
- Experience of working within a finance team - Essential
- Previous experience of consolidating and reconciling accounts - Essential
- Strong account and invoice query resolution - Essential
- Strong team player - Essential
- Able to prioritise workload - Essential
- Experience of working with a high number of transaction in a busy environment - Essential
- Excellent skills - Essential
- Sage Line 500 experience - Essential
- Strong IT and excel skills - Essential
