Job Details

In this role you will manage the company's local and Group financial accounting and reporting, tax compliance, asset management, internal control activities and day to day relationships with external auditors. As well as manage the company's financial planning, budgeting and forecasting activities, including Opex, Capex

Description

  • Responsible for month end close and balance sheet account management, group financial reporting and local accounts preparation. Provide accounting and tax advice, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
  • Coordination of annual budgets, Opex and Capex management
  • Responsible for direct and Indirect tax compliance
  • Manage external auditors, jointly plan and execute audit programmes, including the design, implementation and adherence to SOX controls
  • Control fixed assets and inventory, ensuring independent verification
  • Responsible for maintaining banking relationships & bank account management
  • Responsible for cash, liquidity, intercompany loans and investment management
  • Responsible for managing foreign exchange exposure, working with Sales and Procurement to maintain natural hedge or develop alternative solutions
  • Responsible for customer credit exposure, working with Sales to manage risk and reward. Assess credit risk. Manage Credit Risk Insurance and maintain relationships with Broker and Insurer
  • Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring service level meets all KPI's

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS Accounting Standards
  • Knowledge of SOX controls
  • Knowledge of Tax Compliance
